With an average of nearly 20 days of football practices delayed or cancelled annually due to lighting and rain, the urgency for an Indoor Football Practice Facility at The University of Miami has never been more apparent. From a functionality and recruiting standpoint, this new facility will send a message to the nation that the University of Miami is investing in the well-being and success of all of our student-athletes at the highest level.
Located on the Greentree Practice Fields at the University of Miami Coral Gables campus, the 100,000 square ft, Football Indoor Practice Facility is the largest Athletics facility project since the BankUnited Center was completed in 2003. The first level of the facility will feature an 80 yard long field-turf football field as well as a separate, 40 yard long field connected directly to the Squillante Family Strength and Conditioning Center and the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson football locker room.

The 2nd level of the facility includes a mezzanine overlooking the field for viewing as well as over 13,000 square feet of new office space for our head football coach and 9 assistant coaches. In addition to the office space there will be team meeting rooms for all of our position groups as well as a recruiting suite and a video production and operation center.
